The Mike O’Neal Memorial Community Garden was established in 2014 through a partnership between the Harrison County Health Department and the Health and Wellness Coalition. Since its humble beginnings, the garden has flourished — producing over a ton of fresh, nutritious vegetables!
That’s right — tons of produce grown with care by our volunteers and staff. And the best part? Every harvest has been donated to support our community — including the local Food Pantry, Senior Center, and shared at our WIC and Open Office Clinics.
It’s a true example of how growing together can help us thrive together.
