The Mike O’Neal Memorial Community Garden was created by the Harrison County Health Department and the Health and Wellness Coalition in 2014.
We picked 55.4 pounds of zucchini along with green beans, cherry tomatoes, jalapeños, cucumbers, banana peppers, and green peppers on July 3, 2018!
In 2017 we picked a total of 314 pounds of produce from the Mike O’Neal Memorial Garden. We are well on the road to exceeding our pounds from last year! The produce from the garden has been distributed to Hope Royale, the Harrison County Food Pantry and the Bethany Senior Center.
