CPR & First Aid Training

The Harrison County Health Department will hold one CPR class each month. We will be having class on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 9 a.m.

2022 Schedule

  • June 15th
    • Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)
  • July 20th
    • Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).
  • August 17th
    • Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)
  • September 21st
    • Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).
  • October 19th
    • Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)
  • November 16th
    • Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).
  • December 21st
    • Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)

NOTE: The Healthcare Provider cards and the Heartsaver Course cards will be $20 each. This change went into effect September 2018.

You MUST pre-register by calling the Health Department at 660-425-6324.

More About our CPR Training … 

This training takes approximately three hours to complete and certifies the participant for two years from the date of completion. We offer both Healthcare provider and Heartsaver certification. This training provides certification through the American Heart Association. Trainings are taught in a group setting (usually about six participants) and are scheduled upon request.

More About our First Aid Training …

This training takes approximately three hours to complete and certifies the participant for two years from the date of completion. Trainings are taught in a group setting (usually between four and eight participants) and are scheduled upon request. Offered through the Heartsavers program, the First Aid training provides certification through the American Heart Association.
