CPR/First Aid Training

The Harrison County Health Department will hold one CPR class each month.   We will be having class on the second Wednesday of each month starting at 9 a.m.

 

2019 Schedule


January 9th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


February 13th-  Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)


March 13th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


April 10th-Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.)


May 8th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


June 12th-Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.) 


July 10th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


August 14th-Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.) 


September 11th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


October 9th-Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.) 


November 13th-Healthcare Provider (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 6).


December 11th-Heartsaver Course for Non Healthcare Providers with the option of 1st aid  (minimum number to hold a class is 4, maximum number is 8.) 



The Healthcare Provider cards and the Heartsaver Course cards will each be $20. This change went into effect September 2018.


You MUST pre-register by calling the Health Department at 660.425.6324.  We hope this helps everyone to plan for the class and makes it run more smoothly!

 

 CPR Training

 

This training takes approximately three hours to complete and certifies the participant for two years from the date of completion.  We offer both Healthcare provider and Heartsaver certification. This training provides certification through the American Heart Association.  Trainings are taught in a group setting (usually about six participants) and are scheduled upon request.

First Aid Training

 

This training takes approximately three hours to complete and certifies the participant for two years from the date of completion.  Trainings are taught in a group setting (usually between four and eight 

participants) and are scheduled upon request.  Offered through the Heartsavers program, the First Aid training provides certification through the American Heart Association.
