Northwest Missouri Fair Food Vendors – Eighteen vendors were inspected on 09-03-2015.

No critical violations were noted.

Most of the non-critical violations that were found were corrected during the inspections.

 

Kwik Zone— Routine inspection conducted on 9/16/15.

Critical

No critical violations were found.

Non-critical

Cup lids stored on floor. All food items and single service items shall be stored 6 inches off floor. Violation was corrected during inspection.

 

North Harrison R-3—Routine inspection conducted on 9/23/15.

Critical

Dented cans of mandarin oranges & jalapenos, items were discarded during inspection.

Non-critical

Tupperware in walk-in freezer missing label, all food not readily recognizable shall contain a label. Violation was corrected during inspection.

Vent hood above stove, vent going outside, and air duct vents in storage room were all dirty. These items are to be cleaned by next regular inspection.

 

Cainsville R-1—Routine inspection conducted on 9/23/15.

Critical

Dented cans of peaches & pears, items were discarded during inspection.

Can opener has buildup of food residue. Clean on routine basis. Violation was corrected during time of inspection.

Non-critical

Uncovered bulbs in store room, all lighting above food storage and food prep areas shall be covered.

 

Ridgeway R-5—Routine inspection conducted on 9/23/15.

Critical

No critical violations were noted.

Non-critical

Bottom shelf of stainless table rusty and chipped, nonfood contact surfaces shall be maintained in good repair.

Door of walk-in cooler rusty and both walls on either side are in need of repair. Physical facilities shall be maintained in good repair.

 

Grandma’s Mobile Kitchen—Pre opening inspection conducted on 9/23/15.

No critical or non-critical violations were noted at time of inspection. This mobile food establishment is approved to open.

 

Gilman City R-4—Routine inspection conducted on 9/30/15.

Critical

Unlabeled spray bottle in kitchen, all spray bottles containing toxics shall have a label. Violation was corrected during time of inspection.

Non-critical

Boxes stored on floor of walk-in cooler. All food boxes shall be stored at least 6” off of the floor.

 

Gilman City General Store—Routine inspection conducted on 9/30/15.

Critical

No critical violations were noted.

Non-critical

No self closing door on restroom, all restrooms shall have self closing doors.

Gaps under rolling door across from walk-in cooler, all outer openings shall be sealed to prevent pest entry.

 

Selena’s Café—Pre-opening inspection conducted on 9/30/15.

Critical No critical violations noted at time of inspection.

Non-critical

Single service cups stored on floor, single service items shall be stored 6” off of floor.

No covered waste basket in women’s restroom, waste basket shall be covered.

Both non-critical items were corrected at time of inspection and this establishment is approved to open.
