The following inspections were conducted during the month of June 2015:

Harrison County Senior Center (Bethany) – Routine inspection conducted on 06-08-15.
Critical
(1) Unlabeled spray bottle in kitchen. Spray bottles shall be labeled as to contents. Violation was corrected during inspection.
(2) Can opener in need of cleaning. Food contact items shall be washed, rinsed and sanitized as often as necessary to keep them clean. Violation was corrected during inspection.
Non-critical

Two violations, including: 1. Employee drying dishes with paper towels (corrected); 2. Sanitizer not working in ware washing machine (corrected).

Camaro’s Steakhouse
(Bethany) – Routine inspection conducted on 06-22-15.
Critical
(1)Raw meat stored over cooked meat in walk-in cooler. Raw protein foods shall not be stored over ready-to-eat foods to protect from cross-contamination. Violation was corrected during inspection.
(2) Food items on breakfast prep line are between 55.0 – 56.2 F. Food items requiring refrigeration shall be held at 41.0 F or below. Violation was corrected during inspection.
(3) Can opener and prep table by Vulcan are in need of cleaning. Food contact surfaces shall be washed, rinsed, and sanitized as often as necessary to keep them clean. Violation was corrected during inspection.
(4) Baked potatoes and gravy in walk-in cooler are not date-marked. Potentially hazardous, ready-to-eat foods shall be marked with a seven-day discard date. Violation was corrected during inspection.
Non-critical
Five violations, including: 1. Hand sink being used for purposes other than hand washing (corrected);
2. Employees not changing gloves after handling non-food items (corrected); 3. Prime rib thawing on open-air rack (corrected); 4. Breakfast line cooler not holding foods at 41.0 F or below (corrected);
5. Wiping cloths not stored in sanitizing solution (corrected).
